Trip notes

From the club member's GPS log of the trip (26 December 2015), lightly edited, with people's names removed. Conditions may have changed since.

A straightforward route, but slow in places because of large boulder fields, especially near Pt 2096. Great views from the summit, including most of Cromwell in the distance. A surprising amount of snow around Lake Te Kohua, including on the usual route up Tuwhakaroria onto the col. Good phone reception.
