TrailTreks is a free hiking and tramping app for New Zealand, for iPhone and Android. It has LINZ topo, vector and aerial maps, Department of Conservation huts, tracks and alerts, mountain weather, and whole-island offline map packs, so the map keeps working where there is no signal. Location Beaconing lets trusted contacts follow your check-ins from a private, time-limited link.
