Trip notes
From the club member's GPS log of the trip (18 January 2003), lightly edited, with people's names removed. Conditions may have changed since.
Party of 2, starting at Pegleg Flat. Aim for the patch of scree visible from the road; the scrub is not too bad to there. The gully is good going but steepens a bit near the top, and after that it is easy going. Pick your way around the narrow ridge higher up, but mostly OK. The route down is easy until the scrub, which is a bit thick in places: stick to the spur or slightly north of it. In the bush, pick up an old track marked with yellow discs.
