Trip notes
From the club member's GPS log of the trip (6 February 2010), lightly edited, with people's names removed. Conditions may have changed since.
Day trip, party of 2: a 10½-hour, 27.5 km day. Very hot in the afternoon. The Blackball ridge is very slow, not nearly as easy as the map would have you believe. The bush section is fairly straightforward, though with a bit of regrowth higher up where the bush is rather stunted. The track is truncated.
