From the club member's GPS log of the trip (30 November 2011), lightly edited, with people's names removed. Conditions may have changed since.
Solo trip. This is the second day's log. The ascent day was cloudy, with clag and drizzle higher up; I finally pushed through the clag at the campsite area. Follow the road for a while rather than DOC's crazy track start.
The summit day was perfect weather with summer conditions. Crampons were needed only for the final ascent section. Very little snow for early season.
