Trip notes

From the club member's GPS log of the trip (23–24 March 2007), lightly edited, with people's names removed. Conditions may have changed since.

Day 1, via Jordan Saddle to Avoca Hut: the track is truncated, but we started from the Klondyke Corner car park at 8:20 am and arrived at Avoca Hut at 3:15 pm. The traverse into Galilee Stream might be better done higher, perhaps by climbing the ridge from Jordan Saddle. The actual track was a rather steep, bony scree.

Day 2, out via the Anti Crow: the track is truncated, but arrived back at the car at 2:20 pm. Stayed at the hut, then did a quick trip up to Moraine Flat before heading out. Despite dire warnings in the hut book, Easy Stream was in fact easy.
