Trip notes

From the club member's GPS log of the trip (30 December 2010 – 1 January 2011), lightly edited, with people's names removed. Conditions may have changed since.

An excellent and straightforward route to both Gloriana and Three Tarns. We climbed Gloriana from the other Maruia fork and then crossed the range to camp at Three Tarns.

In the creek below Three Tarn Pass it looks as if the route lower down crosses the stream, but it is actually on the true right all the way: the creek is mapped wrongly.
